Great week! Despite dodging giant puddles of snow and ice water on a daily basis to and from work, I’m having a great time.
First, a quick plug for one of the weirdest sites I’ve ever seen, fiverr.com.
People sign up to provide services for 5 bucks. And all obvious jokes aside, you can find people to do almost anything for five dollars. Want to have your essay translated from English to Russian? Want a puppet with a German accent to read your sales pitch? Want a caricature drawn? Or in my case, want a video intro for your project? Five bucks.
Once we see the end result, I’ll be able to give my final verdict, but so far this seems like a hilariously awesome, and incredibly convenient website. Kudos.
Speaking of video projects, all sound issues have been resolved, stock footage is being recorded, script outlines are being written, and a rough episode schedule is being hashed out… gosh, this is going to happen. I’m kind of surprised, but also super excited.
Ooh! Here’s a link to a teaser for the JoeShine YouTube channel – really it’s a test upload using footage that may be used in an intro, but I’m still thrilled to see it.
But returning briefly to the snow that’s been falling every few days, even though I’m a fan of Winter, I have a quick message for Mother Nature…
Knock it off.
