So, there are lot’s of good things going on.
I just uploaded episode 5 of my Kerbal Space Program series. The Minecraft multiplayer server is lot’s of fun, and (maybe next week) we’re going to start recording videos of that, too. I’m going to fly out to Phoenix for several days for a really neat work conference – and have the opportunity to meet some fellow LARPers in the evenings. Home-life is awesome as always, and a constant source of happy.
All in all, a lot of cool things are going on.
None-the-less, (and due to one single event) it was a rough week.
I don’t want to get into the details, but I’ll link to a comic that made the rounds on Facebook earlier in the month (at least in my feed).
This hit pretty hard. First, the nostalgia factor of being way more into Calvin and Hobbes than many of my peers for far longer, and getting all emotional over it. And second, the events of the past week made me look back at this comic and say to myself, “well?”
I’ve got some stuff to think about. But let me say to the people who read this blog: you are a source of peace and inspiration, and when I have information I can share, I will do so.
