No new History of Kerbin post yet, but don’t worry – it’s coming. Honestly, my energy right now in the game is going toward putting a whole mess of crap into space and getting everything lined up for a series of interplanetary flights. After the second or third of those, there’s not much to write about each individual launch – so we’ll be fast forwarding a bit when we pick up our narrative.
But speaking of narratives (weak transition), the toys I purchased (referenced in my post seeking technical advice) have arrived, and I’m getting my computer set up to begin the next phase of my plan for world domination: YouTube.
The last of the hardware will be acquired this week (I need a second internal hard drive to run the video capture), and we’ll begin tests hopefully by the end of the week.
I have a few “shows” lined up in my head. I enjoy “Let’s Play” videos, so I plan to maintain a handful of these: for now I’m thinking KSP, DayZ, and maybe Minecraft to start. Since not everyone agrees with me on the high entertainment value of these videos, I’ll also be posting additional videos as the inspiration strikes me. I envision an ongoing series of videos about New York City – kind of like a tourguide kind of thing.
I hope all of this will be successful, and welcome suggestions for other show ideas.
